How was your weekend? Mine was great, I was working a lot for school - and also for my blog. As you may have noticed, there is a new section up in the menu, home decor, and the first post is coming up tomorrow! Anyway, I had a great time with my family and today I had so much fun shooting this outfit with Ziga.
I am wearing a Frachella backpack; hand made bags and backpacks designed by a friend of mine. I really love the whole Frachella philosophy, the easy-going lifestyle, and loads of positive energy. Make sure to check out their website & shop, and you are more then welcome to follow them on Instagram, too.
Shop the look:

Eva Sever (And another important thing: there will be a post very soon at the "BEAUTY" section - a step by step tutorial for the perfect spring/summer makeup! You can contact Eva through me, lust leave a message in my inbox and I'll give you all the details.)
Have a great time this extended weekend, spend it with the ones closest to you and leave all worries somewhere at the bottom of your deepest drawer!
I would like to introduce you to my friend Sonia. She is also a blogger - but one of a different kind. She writes about healthy snacks and other yummy recipes, beauty, fitness, DIY, and loads of other super useful stuff. I am really happy we finally found the time to shoot (we are both extremely busy women :D ), and this lovely post is the result of a great Sunday afternoon.
Since today is the first day of spring I am sure we are all (utterly unnecessarily) panicking about our bikini bums and flat stomachs.
Sonia and I wanted to help you get in shape so you'll feel and look gorgeous this summer. She has so many healthy recipe / menu ideas. Here are a couple of examples on how to treat yourself with the proper smoothies, so you will shine on the inside and out:
1. GREEN SMOOTHIE FOR BEGINNERS
Green smoothies are a great source of fiber, vitamins and minerals.
When drinking only fruit smoothies it results in short bursts of energy (fruit contains lots of sugar, which is quickly metabolized). By adding veggies we stabilize the level of sugar and archive a lasting source of energy.
If you’re a picky eater when it comes to veggies green smoothies are your solution. You eat your veggies without even realizing. The taste of the greens is hidden by the taste of the fruit.
They are also great for your digestion and will keep you full and hydrated.
Spinach and banana green smoothies are perfect for beginners. The spinach on its own doesn’t have a very distinctive flavor and by adding the banana you can’t taste it at all.
So here is my quick, simple and yummy beginners green smoothie.
It will make the pickiest eater fall in love with the power of green!
2. POST WORKOUT SMOOTHIE
Bananas are great for muscle regeneration. They are full of potassium, a mineral essential for muscle strength.
Pears are high in fructose (a natural and simple sugar found in fruit), which is rapidly digested and transformed into glucose. Glucose is absorbed in the blood and gives the body energy.
Coconut milk relaxes muscles, regulates blood sugar, lowers pressure and reduces the occurrence of inflammation in the joints.
FA Whey Protein is a high quality protein concentrate. It mainly helps with muscle regeneration and growth.
Cut up the banana and pear. Add all of the ingredients in to a blender (you can also use a food processor or sick blender) and blend it all up. Simple, fast and tasty.
3. STRAWBERRY-BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWL
Smoothie bowls are a fun and delicious way to eat smoothies. In texture they are something in between a smoothie and ice cream. The combinations of flavors are endless and you can use whatever topping you desire - fruit, seeds, nuts, super foods etc.
Blend the ingredients in a blender and transfer in to a bowl. Add your favourite toppings.
4. MIXED BERRIES GREEN SMOOTHIE
Preparation: Place all of the ingredients in to a blender and blend.
5. APPLE GREEN SMOOTHIE
Blend, blend, blend and ENJOY!
Ok and now to my area of expertise :D She is wearing a customized H&M sweater, Only jeans, a Romwe bag, and shoes from Humanic. This sweater is her favorite - her friends gave it to her for her birthday, and customized it with this super cute text! Her look is casual and it is an example of something she wears every day - to school, to work, or even an afternoon drink with a friend. I really love her effortless and chic style, and the way she glows - oh my! Sonia is living proof that beauty comes from the inside. What you eat in private, you wear in public.
And please feel free to contact her if you have any questions about your diet, if you need beauty tips, or even an exercise routine. I am truly grateful for this chance to work with her, and I hope she maybe makes me a delicious smoothie someday!
today I'll be writing about must-haves. Of course, all of us have a list of a couple of key pieces we'd like (in time) to add to our wardrobe. And since I was sick the whole week and stuck in bed, I had loads of time to improve and perfect my list :D Here are a couple of things I think every woman should get once in her life:
So now I would like to share the first thing I scratched off my list; a Marjeta Grošelj bag. She designs and makes beautiful handmade bags, and is a true inspiration and a real fashion icon. There are no two bags of a kind - each one is unique, and this is just the thing that makes them priceless and magical. I am so happy that I was able to treat myself with one so early in my life and I know it will stay with me for a couple of decades at least!
And now here's the outfit:
Turtleneck and scarf: H&M
Shoes: Max Mara
Backpack: Marjeta Grošelj
Shades: Andy Wolf Eyewear
