I am not one of those who say that looks do not matter. People love to look great and there is nothing wrong about that-it is lovely to dress up and it can feel amazing to put on makeup every once in a while. Of course, if it all stems from a place self-care and not a place of self-deprecation. In this aspect, welcome to my self-care fashion and beauty blog!
Hello my darlings!
Today I am writing this post with a diamond on my finger. I am writing this post as a fiancee. I am writing this post as the happiest girl on the planet. Yesterday, I said yes! I said yes to the most beautiful, caring, amazing man, and I can't wait to spend forever with him. Žiga proposed on Christmas morning, right when we woke up and rushed to see what Santa has left under our tree. It was our first Christmas morning with our cats, at our new home, and it was one I will never forget. This Christmas I got the most precious gift of all - a forever and always. I'm overwhelmed with such beautiful emotions, and I feel so calm, whole. I am completely happy and in love with my life.
Žiga is the one, and he was the one since our first kiss. In spite of being dead drunk, and in spite of it being a 'one night stand' at first, we both knew it was something more, something much more! The story of how we met, and how we started dating is a fun and an unusual one, but I think I'll tell you that one some other time. Today all I wanted to say was that I am getting married, I got my prince charming, and a 'happily ever after'. This is my happy ending, and an even happier beginning.
Thank you love for making me the luckiest, happiest, most loved woman every day for the past five years, and thank you for choosing to keep making me so forever. I love you beyond words. ♡
p.s.: HE FILMED IT! Our Christmas vlogs will be up soon, stay tuned!
ALSO: I will be filming a Q&A about getting engaged and everything that comes along with it, so just comment your questions below! ♡
Talk soon, x
Finally a post at the style section after a while! Since December is the month of gifting I got a present from Daniel Wellington. This year they prepared something special for us - we can create our own gift sets! Get your's here, and use the code ninastanic to get a 15% discount on your purchase!
Today I had tea at a lovely cafe inside the City Museum of Ljubljana with my boyfriend (thank you for the photos love♡). We had the perfect morning; breakfast at home and cuddles with our cats, then we went to the cafe, and later we met a friend of mine for lunch at EK (the best brunch/lunch place ever!), and now I'm home writing this post. Which I will finish in a minute, because I have to study for my Pilates instructor exam I have on Saturday. FINGERS CROSSED!
I'll keep you posted :) Talk soon!
Finally it's also publicly ok to freak out about Christmas :D All of the lights are on, and I'm already in full-cozy mode. Now in the past posts I have sometimes mentioned my Pandora jewelry, but I don't think I've ever really told you what it's all about. I've been collecting Pandora charms since I've been twelve years old (which makes it almost 11 years!!), and I am a true fan. My collection at this point consists of 50 charms, 7 bracelets, and one ring, and each and every one of them means something to me. I get the charms from family and friends for birthdays, Christmases, and other special occasions, so each item is really special to me and means a lot. I don't really wear any other jewelry, except from two other rings, and a necklace I got as a gift from my mom, so the Pandora bracelets are pretty much the only jewelry I'm wearing! It feels so good to always have the people I hold closest with me. Behind each charm there's a story, a feeling, that reminds me of who I am and grounds me. So I want to say thank you to Pandora, for being a medium, a channel for us to share love and positivity, make us see the best in people, and really live every moment.
So here's the story behind my Pandora. I'm sure so many of you share it, and if you do I'll be happy to see one of your favorite charms!
Now I'm off to study, I have a big exam coming up this friday! Honestly, I'm really nervous because the topic of the exam is something that means very much to me, and will probably play a big role in my future *fingers crossed*.
Have a lovely day!
