I am not one of those who say that looks do not matter. People love to look great and there is nothing wrong about that-it is lovely to dress up and it can feel amazing to put on makeup every once in a while. Of course, if it all stems from a place self-care and not a place of self-deprecation. In this aspect, welcome to my self-care fashion and beauty blog!

Hey weekend people!
I noticed something - I almost NEVER post on a Friday! So here's a Friday evening post, finally! I've been home for a few days now, and am already back on track with scheduling next week. My workouts, food, work, social life, I'm planing it all out so I can make the most out of every day. How about you? Do you like to plan everything in advance? :D
Anyway, here's another outfit Žiga and I shot last week in Barcelona, Spain. I'm wearing my favourite Max Mara Weekend cardigan (it was so windy!!), ZARA jeans, H&M platforms, a Boopacks Mini backpack, Glow choker, a Daniel Wellington watch, Celine shades, and Tiffany&Co rings.
Have a great weekend! Happy easter everyone!
Good morning babes!
It's almost summer in Spain - people are swimming in the sea already & sunbathing on the beach all day long - and that's exactly how we spent one day last week. We grabbed some food and drinks, and found a nice place on the gorgeous sandy beach of Barcelona. So as you can see, this is a VERY easy-going outfit inspired by the upcoming Coachella festival. I got the skirt at H&M (the Coachella collection, 19.99€), the shirt is also from H&M and is currently one of my favourite ones - so comfy! For those wandering: yes, it comes in white, too :D The backpack is from Boopacks, and it turnes out it's the best travel companion ever! And because the devil is in the details: shades: Optika Mali, watch: Daniel Wellington, rings: Tiffany&Co.
Have a beautiful day (and enjoy breakfast!) ♡

Yesterday my boyfriend and I came home from a week in Barcelona, Spain & I'm so excited to tell you all about it! I'll make a quick recap of our first time in this beautiful city - where we stayed, what we ate, what we saw, our favourites, etc.
On the first day we arrived to the El Prat airport around 5pm, and headed straight to meet our AirBnb host. We found a lovely apartment in the Gothic quarter, which turned out to be the best possible location! Cecilia was nice, and the apartment had all we needed. Because of my eating habits I'm very limited to what I can and can't eat - this week in a new city was very hard for me, because I didn't know what food to buy or where, but I managed. Although I think I'll stay home for a while now, and focus on my recovery even more. My mom found a great eating disorder therapist, and I'll meet her next week probably - I'll keep you posted ♡.
So we cooked a lot in our flat, but also ate out quite a bit, and that was the real challenge for me. I ate avocado toast almost evey day because I was scared to order anything else hahah :D My definite favourite place was Espaijoliu, where they have a lovely selection of super healthy foods & great coffee. Žiga found a bakery where he ate dinner almost every day, and the food looked (and smelled) amazing. Sadly I didn't try it - next time, I hope. Another amazing experience was Flax & Kale - health-nut heaven - and there's also a Flax & Kale a Porter at the top of the Passeig de Gracia H&M (I'm in love!!), where they serve snacks, desserts, and juices for those in need; mostly shopping-exhausted folk :D
The week went by really fast, and we cruised it through on Murksli Custom Boards, so we rarely used the metro / trams / busses. Because of our amazing 'home base' location everything was about fifteen minutes away. The beach was AMAZING - people were already in full summer mode, swimming & sunbathing, and the vibe was great. We also saw some of the amazing Gaudi architecture, and a couple of famous skateboarding spots. We took it easy & enjoyed the city.
My overall Barcelona experience was really nice, but I have to say that the hygienic minimum is not reached in the city. There's a lot of feces wandering the streets, and that bothered me a lot. But still, Barcelona minus the constant smell of piss (and worse organic waste) is pretty amazing! :D
I'll also make some posts about what I was wearing this week, so stay tuned & have a beautiful day!
