Hey my darlings!
So the beginning of 2019 has been super intense for me! I am sticking to my resolution (and am loving it, by the way – I’ll tell you more later). In the first two weeks I was sick, both Žiga and I caught the flu. But still, we tried to work as much as possible! I am super sad I didn’t get to film any YT videos though.. I think we just need to get used to this new crazy tempo :D
This year I have so many goals. But for now, I can tell you that I applied for a nutritionist license education! I am so happy to expand my knowledge regarding fitness & health. Soon I will be offering a new service, and that is online pilates wellness coaching, which will include a individual training program & meal plan! There won’t be any issues regarding when and where to exercise – YOU DECIDE! We will be able to track your progress online, precisely calculate your achievements and predict your future ones. Together we will set your goals & milestones, and find the fastest and most effective way to achieve them. WE’LL BE KILLING IT IN 2019!
In the other half of the year I plan on expanding my movement knowledge even further, applying for a personal fitness trainer education, so we can also hit the gym together & kill it there! In the meantime I am studying transactional analysis, and focusing on growing as a future therapist. I’m literally so exited to see where life takes me!
So. Now to the NY resolution update.
26 days of no sugar has brought me so much joy. I feel so good, and so much more creative! As if sugar was holding me back in literally every aspect of my life. I’ve had no real cravings so far, and I don’t expect them anytime soon. Right now I’m just enjoying life as it is, hitting the gym a lot, and teaching my pilates classes.
I’ve found quite some cool food swaps (I’ll tell you all about that in a separate post in the upcoming week), and now I think I’m slowly starting to see results on my body. It’s too early to say anything (oh my god, I am writing this post on my couch with my cat sitting beside me & she just farted and I almost fainted because of it lol idk why I told you this), anyway – it’s too early to say anything, but I really feel quitting sugar was one of the best choices I made in my life. I hope I can tell you more soon! (:
So to wrap it up: joy and happiness are coming my way. I’ll make sure to send some to you, too! We’re taking a lot of mini trips lately, and yesterday we were at Rakitna. We witnessed probably the most beautiful light I ever saw, we just caught the golden hour! Of course I asked Žiga to take some photos, & I edited them with my presets (SHOP VIA INSTAGRAM DM).
Talk soon guys, stay cool!
Hey my darlings!
Today we woke up early, hopped in the car, and drove to the frozen lake Jasna. What a magical morning! Žiga had to film something, and asked him to take a few photos of me so I could show you how my presets look like on some more photos. You can see the before / after photos on my Instagram highlight 'Presets'.
In case you missed it:
I created two presets for you! They're called Matcha and Aqua Latte, and you can order them via my Instagram DM (pack price: 10eur).
So this morning was super fun, but now we both have work to do. And I also have to stop by the post office, not only to ship your Tsuki and book orders, but also to pay a fine I got for speedng last week :D Nothing serious, I was driving on a straight road on a Sunday (no schools or houses around), and I drove 60 instead on 50km/h. It was my mistake, but guys come on, go terrorize people who actually commit crimes or serious driving 'mistakes'.
Anyway, I learned my lession :D
Stay cool guys, talk soon!
Today we visited Bled in the morning. We hopped in the car immediately after the washing mashine mechanic guy left (yes, our washing mashine broke down last week!). The guy that came to fix it was super nice, and he worked very fast. Fast enough we could go to Bled! I was so excited, because I really needed a couple hours of 'us time'.
When we arrived we soon realized the both of us were not dressed properly. Not even close. It was -6, I really don't know what we were thinking haha! Anyway, we still decided to take a walk around the lake and snap a few photos. Even though it was so beautiful it might not have been the best idea, because we were both way to cold! Fingers crossed pneumonia doesn't say hi!
When we (finally) escaped the cold (don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the walk, it just felt like walking the arctic circle naked), we decided to get pizza for lunch. Best. Idea. Ever.
On our way back we stopped at a tattoo studio, but I'll tell you more about that soon (yes, you're probably thinking the right thing). Now we're at home doing all the work we should have done in the morning. Deadlines don't scare us.
The oldest pair of shoes & jeans (I don't even remember where I got them), a Levi's belt, a ZARA coat, a Massimo Dutti blazer, a Intimissimi turtleneck, Marjeta Grošelj bag, Dior sunnies, and a GAP scarf.
This post is long overdue! As most of you probably know I started my own merch in May. I called it Shop Offline, and you guys loved it! As did I, of course. The t-shirts were sold out in no time (three times, thank you!!), and we began to form a super cool community on Instagram. So much positivity and good vibes, I can’t thank you enough! But in August and September there was so much change in my life, and I realized I wanted my merch to become something more, too.
I wanted it to become a brand. In October I opened my own business, so the name had to change (Offline is my husband’s), and that was the turning point.
In Japanese that means ‘moon’, and that is, for me, a very strong, meaningful name. You know the saying; ‘nomen est omen’. I believe in mother nature, and in all it’s power. And the Moon is a big part of that. I feel strongly connected to her, she is my goddess. She moves mountains, and tames seas. She sets our mood, and shines down on us when there’s no other light to guide us. And so Tsuki was born.
The brand represents my fundamental values. The t-shirts are made of certified organic cotton and hand printed in Ljublana, Slovenia. They are also part of the Geneva Convention banning child labour, the drawing up and controlled implementation of an exemplary code of conduct on working conditions and social laws, the use of non-toxic dyes,.. The pouches and totes are also made of certified fair trade organic cotton and hand printed in Ljublana, Slovenia. The beanies are made of 100% acryl, and are hand embroided here, in Slovenia, and the notebooks are also printed in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
With Tsuki my goal is to offer an alternative, more friendly and less aggressive way of shopping. I encourage mindfulness as a way of life, and try my best to apply it to fashion, and also to other aspects of my daily life, such as food, transport, relationships,.. Because being nice is always the best choice. Not necessarily the easiest one, but for sure it is the one everyone benefits the most from.
So I am inviting you along on my journey towards learning and growing our manners – regarding our attitude in general, and our relationships with people / animals, how and why we take care of the environment, our relationship with food, etc. Let’s be friendly to one another, to all life on Earth, and to the planet itself. It’s not like we can just move to another planet once we destroy this one. Our bodies, and this Earth, these are the only two places we have to live. Let’s take care of both.
Making this invitation I have to remind you of one more thing. You don’t have to change it all, or all at once. Take small steps, because no matter how small the steps, you’re still moving forward as long as you’re making them.
Here are some examples on where and how to start:
-Stop buying / taking plastic bags at grocery stores, and always bring your own (I use my organic cotton totes ALL THE TIME).
-Switch to locally grown food. everything that’s not from your country (or the country next to yours) is just polluting the planet way to much. If bananas don’t grow in Slovenia, you don’t need to eat them. We have plenty of apples here, for instance. And they don’t travel half the world and pollute the seas, air, and so much more. I do almost all my grocery shopping at the farmer’s market. And again, you don’t need to change everything at once. Start with veggies / meat / dairy,.. just pick one and get it eco from now on.
-Instant fashion, such as H&M, ZARA, and other huge corporations are a really big polluter. Try to buy less, with more meaning. Buy three (five, seven,..) items per year, instead of going nuts on sales at the mall. Just think of how much the person making the clothes made, if anything. And how the items got to the store. And what materials were used. And if the dyes are tested on animals, and so on. Think before you buy.
One person can’t change the world. But if we all start making really small changes in our daily lives, we just might end up making a huge change all together.
That is the philosophy behind Tsuki, and I hope you join me on my journey towards a more mindful life.

I hope you have a lovely day! Talk soon,
I hope all is well. I'm doing good, counting down the days to our wedding! Earlier today we visited my cousin - he just moved in to a new (I could almost say penthouse) flat in the center of Ljubljana, and he invited us over for coffee. And cake, naturally. And on our way home we snapped some photos of my outfit, and as you can see I'm happy & full of chocolate cake (well - that's why I'm happy..).
I'm wearing an ages old sweater & pants, a Levi's belt, Boopacks backpack, a pair of pearl earrings (also very old, no idea where they're from), and Marella shoes.
I hope you have a beautiful Thursday!
In torto, itak.
