I hope all is well. But as temperatures have dropped quite a lot in the past few days, I know some of us got sick. And so I would like to show you a way to stay healthy and energized now that the weather can't make up it's mind and the temperatures are going nuts :D I prefer natural medicine to the stuff you get at pharmacies. In my opinion, natural is always better, especially regarding our health. There are a lot of things you can do every day to strengthen your immune system, for instance:
- one tbsp honey in the morning: honey is liquid gold, I swear. There are so many benefits of honey, I don't even know where to start. Let's just point out the obvious ones; anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, reduces ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders, helps prevent cancer and heart disease, helps a sore throat,..
-use ginger roots wherever you can (smoothies, spreads, juices,..): ginger is the most magical spice ever. It has been, and still is, used by many people to cure all sort of stuff. From menstrual pain, inflammation, nausea, to healing an angina or flue, lowering the level of cholesterol, it fights infections, I could go on forever. Ginger rocks.
-get your fruits & veggies: it's crucial you ingest a certain amount of vitamins and minerals daily. Those are the little god fairies that keep our bodies up and running. Love the broccoli.
-chocolate: I mean, do I even have to say it? Chocolate is happiness.
