I'm so sorry for skipping the last two weekly recap posts, I've been traveling quite a lot and mostly haven't had a network connection. I've tried to post on Instagram as much as possible, so you guys could still keep up (at least a bit heheh), but now I'm back home & working my ass off to finish this year extra successfully!
I hope you're having a nice December, too. The Christmas hype already got me in the mood to decorate my home and wrap up some presents, how about you? Anyway, in spite of all this holiday madness, I'm staying focused on my training (you have no idea how much I'd love to tell you I'm focused on my diet, too, which isn't exactly the case since I'm stuffing my face with a s**tload of chocolate every day *cries a bit*), and trying to manage work & school & family & friends & hairdressers & nailsalons & meetings,... you know I could go on forever :D But I think that now more then ever we all need the time to calm down and spend some quality time with our loved ones. Do a nice thing for a stranger, help out your gran. The small things make the biggest difference.
Now to my health status: (the criteria is 1-100)
My favorite exercises in the past two weeks were snowboarding and burpees! As I've said, I traveled a bit. Last week I was at Turracher Hoehe with my family, and the week before that I was just roaming Slovenia, taking pictures & working.
And today is a very special day for me.
Carmen and I completed the series of our first 12 training sessions together, and we made a before/after photo! It's so nice to see results, no matter how small. I know the process of getting well is very long, so I've promised myself not to beat myself up for not making progress as fast as I would if I were healthy. It's hard for me to admitt I am not well - I am not "normal". But I know it's ok, and that I will get healthy. I have so much support I am so grateful for, and a determined mindset to finish what I started. So I take today as the first milestone. I am proud I completed my first goal, and now it's time to kick ass & finish another 12 training sessions!
