This column carries information related to what it takes to build a comfortable and safe home. It also includes general tips on creating a positive environment everywhere you go. It emphasizes the aspects which help us grow and makes us conscious of those which smother our progress and deflect our energy. Our direct surroundings reflect who we are and who we are is a reflection of all that surrounds us. Being and staying mindful is what helps us move along with ease.
V rubriki 'Okolje in Čuječnost' domujejo članki o tem, kako ustvariti prijeten bivalni prostor in okolje na sploh. Kaj so tiste stvari, ki nas dvigujejo in kaj tiste, ki nas dušijo. Vse, kar nas obdaja je odraz naše notranjosti, in naša notranjost je odraz vsega, kar nas obdaja. Čuječnost nam pomaga ohranjati lahkotnost življenja.
How are things? Well, I hope. I'm doing good, there's so much going on in my life right now! Those of you who follow me on instagram (@ninastanic), already know the news:
1: MY BOYFRIEND AND I MOVED IN TO A NEW HOME
2: WE ADOPTED 2 KITTENS
I can't even tell you how happy I am. And because we don't have a wireless connection at our house yet, we haven't really been active on social media or our blogs in the past few weeks. But what we DID do is film. Žiga filmed our first day at out new house, and here's the vlog:
And now some more details.
I love the house, I love how the light shines from the attic stairway on to the first floor in the morning, I love making breakfast in our cozy kitchen, I love the hot bubble baths; I could go on forever. I feel like I've been living here for a long time - after just one week I feel at home. I feel it's where I belong, and where I am happy.
And I think a big part of that feeling is created by our beautiful kittens Kenzo and Rina. Even as a child I always wanted a cat, and now my life long wish has come true. There are no words that can describe my happiness and love for those two tiny furry magical beings.
It has been, and still is, a wonderful, unforgettable experience, but I can't say it isn't stressful. It's hard for me to adapt in such a short time, and my sub conscience is making me quite nervous - but that's normal, I suppose. I feel true happiness and satisfaction here, and I can't wait to spend time with my family. The recipe for my happiness is simple: Žiga and the kittens. It is all I want, it is all I need.
Anyway, I'll be back soon with a new post on how we decorated the place (you can see most of it in the vlog, but I'll tell you all in detail here), a post about my health status, and some cool recipes.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
