So now that school's over it's time to re-organize your desk to the summer mode! Put away your math and english books, and make space for some real creativity. Do you already have a list of stuff you want to do this summer? If your answer's yes make sure to leave it in a comment below, so we can keep up and inspire each other! I would love to see some of your works, and make a post featuring all of your art sometime, so please make sure to send me some photos to firstname.lastname@example.org!
Here's my creative bucket list for this summer:
Ok so as you can see, I went totally nuts for pastel-pink again.. Who knows what's up with that :D
1. OH LA LA!
The cute metal cup is a part of a larger collection, and it's just so pretty! The best thing about it is, that it's suitable for almost anything, not just your daily dose of coffee. For instance, I used it as a flower pot, and it worked out perfect, but you might as well use it just as a decorating piece, or even a pen cup on your desk.
The cute little wooden houses are simply a must-have at this moment. At the store you can find so much more of those!
I think it's important to always keep a small notebook close, so you can write down the stuff you'd otherwise surely forget all about.
4. PAPER WINDMILL PEN
This is just the cutest pen ever. And they come in so many patterns it's hard to pick just one!
The beautiful white bird you see sitting on my desk is in fact a letter-opener and paperweight.
6. THE NECESSARY CANDLE
A nice, tall, wooden candle holder, with a glass bottle-like cover, is such a warm piece of decoration. In the evening I love to light some candles, and I can't wait to try this one out today!
7. WATER YOUR FLOWERS
Not only is the watering pot cute as hell, it's also a great piece of decoration, and not to mention - your flowers will die without it. So make sure to keep it around!
8. HAPPY ART
The lovely framed artwork is just one of many you can get at the store. They are made mostly by local designers, and they really brighten up the room with positive energy.
And that's it! Remember: simple is the new black. Or something like that, at least.. Black is hard to beat :D But definitely I advise you to stick to the rule "Less is more." Not only regarding decoration or fashion, but in life in general. The less you have, the more you appreciate it.
So keep life simple my darlings!
