Hey guys! If you're following my Instagram stories you know yesterday I promised you a personal post - I mentioned something about saying goodbye to my old room. And that's exactly the case! Žiga and I found a small house in Ljubljana, and are moving there on August 1st. We've been together for almost five years now, and we're taking the next step in our relationship. I'm so happy to be able to spend my life with such a wonderful person, and living with him in a place we can call home is beyond explaining. Now we're living at my mom's house since there's enough space for us all (Žiga moved in about four years ago, when we were still classmates in high school). Getting our own place is a really big step forward for me, for us. We've been dreaming of some place like this, and now we found it! And there's another thing. The thing we're most excited about! We decided to expand the family and adopt two stray kittens! Kenzo and Rina are now three months old, and weigh around 1kg. We can't wait until they're big & healthy enough for us to take them home - we are expecting to adopt them the same day we move in, 1. 8. 2017. We are in love. With the house, with the kittens, with each other. So now I am saying goodbye to my old room. And I my dear room, I would like to say thank you. Thank you for the beautiful childhood memories of playing hide and seek, for the times I was sick and was playing with Legos and trains for days, thank you for giving me shelter when I needed it, for absorbing my tears and turning them into strength. Thank you for all the inspiration you gave me to expand my passion for interior design, and thank you for all the fun shootings we had. Thank you for being the best room ever, I will miss you! Love, Nina SHOP THIS POST: Kubus Interier

Hey guys!
Finally a post on interior design again, right?! I've worked on this project with Kubus Interier, and I'm so excited to finally share it with you! We decided to go au naturel with the Vitra 'All Plastic Chair'. As dining chairs rarely visit nature, we took them on a trip to our secret garden - we all had a lovely time, and the chairs loved it! So if you're in the mood for magic you're welcome to stop by the Kubus Interier shop, where you can take a photo of our secret garden, post it on your Instagram or Facebook, use the hashtags #secretgarden #vitra #ljubljana, and WIN a Vitra Pantone chair! See you soon! xx It's GIVEAWAY time! This is by far the biggest giveaway I've ever hosted. It is open from today, and up until April 24th - that's when THREE lucky winners will be picked!
You can win one of three GOODIEBAGS *hint: 5 goodies in each bag* from the new Studio Stationery collection at Smile Concept Store. Here are the rules: 1. Find one of these photos on my Instagram (@ninastanic), then like the photo & tag three friends in a comment below. 2. Follow me (@ninastanic) and @smileconceptstore on Instagram. GOOD LUCK ♡ Hey babes!
So I know we all have issues with bobby pins, earrings, and all the tiny things we use in our daily lives. Either we throw them all in a jewelry box, or we lose them asap, right? I've finally found the perfect way to keep that stuff organized! At Smile Concept Store I've found these perfect little plates, and buying those turned out to be one of the best decisions in 2017 hahah :D I'm finally NOT LOSING STUFF anymore! You should definitely try this out, it really worked out for me. Of course I still keep most of my jewelry in a bigger box, but for those tiny fuc**rs these plates are the perfect solution! Cheers to a lovely Saturday! xx Hey everyone!
So on Wednesday I turned 22. I can't believe how time flies! Now that adulthood is coming at me with all it's got, I feel as comfy in my shoes as ever. I have learned very early in life, that you have to take care of yourself first. And don't get me wrong; I'm not talking about egoism here, but if you wish to do good, and be positive about everything and everyone, you need to be nice to yourself and put your needs first. So sometimes, it's ok to take some time off. You have to feel connected with yourself - you need to calm your mind, and let your body cool down. You need to let your soul catch up. And that's why I'm taking a trip this month (where I'll also be celebrating, you'll never guess what it is this time!), and I'll also write a blog post about that. But enough of that now, let's keep it a surprise. I'd like to tell you more about how I spent my birthday earlier this week. On Wednesday morning I got up at 6:30am, and got straight to work; I had to prepare everything, because I've invited some friends over for brunch. I baked a cake, made a veggie cheesecake, prepared some oatmeal, chopped tons of fruit, made coffee, etc. By 11am my lovely guests started arriving, and the party was bound to be a success! Immediately - though not everyone knew each other - people connected and created a better vibe than I could ever wish for. So much laughing, talking, playing silly games; I can honestly say I think we all had a great time. Around 3pm the lot got a bit smaller, some stayed until the evening (well, until 2am to be exact). When everyone left I hopped into bed, and all I could do was smile. I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad to be surrounded with such amazing people, and to call them friends - that's priceless. Again, an enormous thanks to everyone who came! Also, I would like to thank Smile Concept Store - there is no better shop to get all the party decoration you need! So thanks, Smile, for making my food & place look cute as hell. And finally, the biggest thanks of all goes to my beautiful boyfriend Žiga, who helped me out with all the preparations, with the flow of the party itself, and for all the pictures he took. It wouldn't have been the same without you, love. xx, Nina |
