2/10/2017 0 Comments HELLO 22Hey everyone!
So on Wednesday I turned 22. I can't believe how time flies! Now that adulthood is coming at me with all it's got, I feel as comfy in my shoes as ever. I have learned very early in life, that you have to take care of yourself first. And don't get me wrong; I'm not talking about egoism here, but if you wish to do good, and be positive about everything and everyone, you need to be nice to yourself and put your needs first. So sometimes, it's ok to take some time off. You have to feel connected with yourself - you need to calm your mind, and let your body cool down. You need to let your soul catch up. And that's why I'm taking a trip this month (where I'll also be celebrating, you'll never guess what it is this time!), and I'll also write a blog post about that. But enough of that now, let's keep it a surprise. I'd like to tell you more about how I spent my birthday earlier this week. On Wednesday morning I got up at 6:30am, and got straight to work; I had to prepare everything, because I've invited some friends over for brunch. I baked a cake, made a veggie cheesecake, prepared some oatmeal, chopped tons of fruit, made coffee, etc. By 11am my lovely guests started arriving, and the party was bound to be a success! Immediately - though not everyone knew each other - people connected and created a better vibe than I could ever wish for. So much laughing, talking, playing silly games; I can honestly say I think we all had a great time. Around 3pm the lot got a bit smaller, some stayed until the evening (well, until 2am to be exact). When everyone left I hopped into bed, and all I could do was smile. I couldn't be happier. I'm so glad to be surrounded with such amazing people, and to call them friends - that's priceless. Again, an enormous thanks to everyone who came! Also, I would like to thank Smile Concept Store - there is no better shop to get all the party decoration you need! So thanks, Smile, for making my food & place look cute as hell. And finally, the biggest thanks of all goes to my beautiful boyfriend Žiga, who helped me out with all the preparations, with the flow of the party itself, and for all the pictures he took. It wouldn't have been the same without you, love. xx, Nina
