I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. During my two-week web detox I had so much time to develop some yummy recipes (yes, of course I’ll write a blog post about what I learned in those two weeks, and everything else you need to know :D)! Among other things I had a lot of smoothies, acai bowls, nice cream, etc. And this is one of my favorite acai bowl recipes ever!! I topped it with my granola & it made the perfect breakfast.
1 cup frozen blueberries
¼ medium apple
1 cup (or less if you want even more texture) of beetroot juice
1 tsp coconut palm sugar
ginger (to taste)
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp burbon vanilla
1 tsp acai powder
It’s the perfect breakfast (or snack on the go!) because it’s packed with antioxidants, which are essential in today’s polluted world. Our bodies simply just can’t keep up with antioxidant production, so we need to increase the intake of them. These vitamins, minerals phytochemicals and enzymes are essential for our health – they increase the strength of our immune system, help prevent eye, heart, or memory problems, and are an excellent mood stabilizer. So YAY ANTIOXIDANTS! Another benefit of this smoothie can be ginger (if you’re nuts, like me, and put a ton of the root inside). Ginger helps with stomach problems such as nausea and inflammation, which are the main reasons I love it so much. There are countless other amazing benefits of ginger, I’m sure you can find them all if you google it! And last, but not least, this yummy breakfast bowl keeps you full for a while. I usually make a double dose, and sip the smoothie until lunch, well – just because it tastes so good :D
I hope you enjoy your Sunday!

Hello my lovelies!
My 2 week web detox is over, and now I'm ready to rock! I've prepared so much cool content for the next couple of weeks and I just can't wait to share it with you. But let's start slowly - a recipe should do, right?
I was experimenting and developing the perfect granola recipe, and I was sticking to that oven bake every time when it hit me: put it in a pan! It literally takes you like 7 minutes all together, and the result is a super crunchy, fruity, sweet, yummy granola (Žiga instantly named it 'panola', which kind of makes sense! :D). Here's the what, the how & the why:
WHY MAKE IT AT HOME?
Store bought granola, fitness muesli, oatmeal, porridge, etc., all have so much extra sugar and other perservatives and aditives to keep the product yummy and crunchy for ages. And with all that stuff added the actual healthy ingredient, that you bought the product because of, almost doesn't play a role anymore. Oats are great for digestion, incredibly nutritious, a great source of carbs and fiber, and loaded with important minerals, vitamins and antioxidant plant compounds. Not to mention they can help improve blood sugar control, aid your cholesterol levels, and they keep you full for quite some time (well, that's true for most people, I could eat tons of them haha). So that's a quick 'oat recap', but I'm sure you can find more about all kinds of oats searching the web.
BUT HOW DO I EAT IT?
With any kind of milk, yogurt, smoothies, you can also make an oatmeal overkill, like I do mostly, and top your porridge with it! OR you could just have it as a snack on the run. Everything goes!
Now hurry and make your own yummy crunchy fruity *loads of other adjectives* granola in a pan!
Have a lovely day guys, talk soon!
Today I've prepared something for you to pamper your skin with. We all know the damage cold does to our skin, so we need to take extra good care for it in winter. Using a body scrub on a weekly basIs can really improve the condition of your skin, and it also happens to be one of the easiest skin products you can make yourself! The ingredients of this scrub are carefully chosen regarding the season, so we give our skin all the missing nutrients. I used two skin superfoods; coffee and coconut oil. Coffee grounds are the perfect exfoliator because of their consistency and contain caffeic acid, which boosts collagen production and strengthens the skin. Coffee is known to boost blood circualtion and soothe irritated skin as well. Amazing, right? The other ingredient I used, coconut oil, is also a true skin superfood. Among other benefits there are the facts that coconut oil is an excellent moisturizer, amazing deep-cleanser, works antibacterial, etc. Now let's get to the how to part:
Mix the following in a bowl:
The scrub sits in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 months (from my experience), but it's better to make smaller amounts of it and use it fresh. I use exfoliators one or two times a week, and it works perfectly for me. Let me know how it turned out for you!

Good evening folks!
As promised yesterday on my insta story, here's the recipe for a delicious smoothie bowl. I love to make it in winter, because it's literally liquid health :D Also, I get all the ingredients at the farmers market, except for the toppings & matcha, they're form Nutrisslim.
In December my babes and I hosted an Advent Calendar giveaway on Instagram. It was a huge success! We all had so much fun, and the engagement was amazing, thank you lovelies! Hereby we would like to thank all the brands that participated, we hope to work with you again next year! And today Katja, Sonia, Eva and I finally got together for brunch to celebrate our project, and of course the new year!
Here's what I prepared:
Butter croissants, boiled eggs, some ham & cheese, a couple of marmalades, blueberry cheesecake strudel, and some pears with pomegranate seeds. Simple as that! Yes, the food was yummy, but what made the perfect brunch was the company. So much good vibes, thank you babes ♡
Now I'm off grocery shopping, so I can post more recipes! WHO'S EXCITED?!
